Back in her favourite coat: Suri's on-trend faux fur makes another appearance as she and Katie Holmes take a trip to Vancouver

Furry nice: Suri has been seen wearing her favourite brown faux fur coat several times recently - and it even followed her to Canada


It's not very often that you see Suri Cruise wearing the same thing more than once.
But the junior fashionista is clearly far too attached to her brown faux fur coat to leave it hanging in the wardrobe for long.

The four-year-old - known as one of the most stylish little girls in Hollywood - brought the $169 Eliane And Lena coat out again when she went on a shopping trip in downtown Vancouver with her mother Katie Holmes over the weekend.

And she looked as adorable as ever in the furry coat, this time teaming it with a purple dress and black patterned pumps - but while the top half of her was wrapped up warmly, she appeared to be braving the chilly Canadian weather with bare legs.

Katie, meanwhile, was kitted out casually in a checked shirt, black leather jacket, jeans and boots as the pair hit the shops.

They visited a number of stores including Baby Gap and Canadian chain Club Monaco, before stopping off at local juice bar Jugo Juice for a smoothie.

Katie and Suri are in Vancouver visiting Tom Cruise while he films scenes for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

The blockbuster sequel, the fourth in the Mission Impossible series, is set for release in December 2011.

Suri has been seen wearing her brown fur coat a number of times in recent weeks, most notably when she visited Katie on the set of her latest film Jack and Jill.

And she's not the only celebrity child who is a fan of the coat.

Angelina Jolie's adopted son Maddox, eight, was also seen recently wearing the same coat as his mother and sisters went for a shopping trip in New York.

Unlike Suri, however, he teamed his with a matching fur hat with ear flaps.

Meanwhile Katie Holmes has recently revealed that Suri has been choosing her own outfits since she was one-and-a-half - and also designs all her own clothes.

'I grew up the youngest of five, so there were a lot of hand-me-downs that I would sort of change up,' Katie said.

'And Suri and I do that now with her clothes. Or rather, she does it. She says, "I want this sleeve cut," and it's like, "Okay, we'll cut it."'

The four-year-old also has a say in what her mother wears - and said she even allows her to pick out what she wears on the red carpet.

Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago,' Katie revealed, 'and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn't planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, "Okay, I trust you."'
