Miley Cyrus won the prize for most dramatic entrance at the American Music Awards tonight.
The Hannah Montana star arrived at the ceremony in a gorgeous white backless Marchesa mini dress, complete with a long train.
Teamed with Christian Louboutin 'Maralena' heels and Neil Lane jewel, the teen smiled broadly as she posed on the red carpet outside Downtown Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.

According to People, the 17-year-old singer will be performing “Love and Forgiveness” at the show tonight.
Rihanna, who was due to perform at the awards, teamed a shock of red curls with a revealing lacy Elie Saab Couture floor length gown with Christian Louboutin heels.
It was certainly a night for fashion at the event, with several stars wearing mini dresses, despite the chilly Los Angeles temperatures.
Other early arrivals included Fergie in a Falguni & Shane blue and black beaded mini dress with feathered shoulders and Avril Lavigne, who wore a black and white geometric Dolce and Gabbana number complete with pink streaks in her long blonde hair.
Fergie confessed her choice of outfit depended on what her band mates from the Black Eyed Peas were wearing.
'It was between this and a big dress with a train but I thought this would be less messy,' she said.
Pink covered up her burgeoning baby bump in a demure black floor length gown, while Katy Perry kept it feminine in a pink beaded dress by Badgley Mischka.
'I'm very feminine and girly,' she told reporters. 'Pretty in pink and freezing!'

Kelly Osbourne showed off her slim figure in a Calvin Klein lacy number, which she teamed with black peep toe heels.
'I cannot believe it was even sent to me and I cannot believe it fits,' she said of her strapless number.
Taylor Swift looked almost unrecognisable in a short rhinestone dress, with her usually curly hair straightened with a short fringe and strappy sandals.
But the star's limelight was almost stolen by ten-year-old Willow Smith who wore a custom grey jumpsuit with a one shouldered yellow adornment.
Teamed with black leather gloves and black fold-over ankle boots, the youngster, who created a buzz with her catchy song Whip My Hair, overshadowed her actress mother Jada Pinkett Smith, and older brother, Karate Kid star Jaden.

There may have been no Lady Gaga on the red carpet, but U.S. pop star Ke$sha tried her best to emulate the diva's outrageous sense of style by arriving in a black dress apparently made out of VHS tape.
'I kind of look like a Christmas tree,' she said.
Natasha Bedingfield went for a more classic look suitable for the autumn temperatures with a black and white dress, black tights and knee high boots, while Heidi Klum wore a see-through lacy black number.
But style wasn't just left up to the ladies.
Male stars including Gavin Rossdale, Usher and Jersey Shore's The Situation also stepped out on to the carpet, with Rossdale wearing his hair up in a neat bun.
'That's my samurai thing,' he laughed.
Meanwhile, The Situation, real name Mike Sorrentino, took the opportunity to plug his new jewellery line, wearing 'The Situation's' necklace.
Other stylish celebrities included Jenny McCarthy who arrived in a Stella McCartney dress with her hair pulled into a neat chignon.
'I'm wearing my hair in an old lady bun,' she laughed, but confessed she was cold. 'I have goosebumps with a fake tan,' she admitted.
Rapper Nicki Minaj's multicoloured mini dress was a 'shout out' to her Trinidad roots.
'I just felt like I wanted to represent carnival,' she said adding: 'It just felt festive.'
But Sheryl Crow stuck to something more classic, arriving in a patterned maxi dress.
The American Music Awards, which will be aired in the U.S. tonight, celebrates the most popular music acts in the nation.
Tonight's nominees include rapper B.o.B, the Black Eyed Peas, Drake, the music from the hit TV show Glee, Sade, and last year's entertainer of the year, Taylor Swift.
Swift will be among the evening's performers, along with Usher, the Peas, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Katy Perry and Bon Jovi.
