Getting in the spirit: Denise van Outen dresses as a zombie cheerleader at a Halloween party at Maggies Club in London
She told in a recent interview how excited she is to 'have my social life back,' after the birth of daughter Betsy six months ago.
And Denise van Outen was certainly in the festive mood as she joined a host of UK celebrities getting into the Halloween spirit.
The TV presenter dressed up as a zombie cheerleader in a red and yellow costume with gory blood and bruising on her face and leg to attend a star-studded party in London over the weekend.
Scary celebs: Alexandra Burke also attended the Maggie's party while Cheryl Cole is believed to have disguised herself as the Grim Reaper for Sarah Harding's Buckinghamshire bash
Let them eat cake: Nicola Roberts dressed as Marie Antoinette, arrives at Sarah Harding's party with boyfriend Charlie Fennell
Gory: X Factor voiceover man Peter Dickson posed for a picture with Sarah Harding and posted the picture on Twitter with the accompanying message: 'Miss Sarah Harding and me at the Sunday Carvery'
The bash, at Maggie's Club in Chelsea, has a strict full costume dress code for the A-list guests, who embraced the opportunity to look less than perfect for once.
Alexandra Burke put a sexy twist on a Freddy Krueger costume from Nightmare on Elm Street. The slashed outfit, which costs just £40, included a mini dress version of Freddy's striped jumper, hat and knife-fingered glove.
The Halloween spirit from Saturday night's show was felt all around the X Factor corridors, with judge Dannii Minogue dressing baby Ethan up in a pumpkin costume.
Tweet or treat: Dannii Minogue's baby Ethan dressed as a pumpkin, while Jimmy Carr uploaded a photo of his Stormtrooper costume
Dark: Amanda Holden was a witch, while Fearne Cotton (pictured with her cousin) used her 'goth' costume as a promotional opportunity for her new Boots make-up range
Meanwhile Cheryl Cole went straight from the ITV studios to band mate Sarah Harding's fancy dress bash at her Buckinghamshire home.
A mysterious purple figure covered head to toe as the Grim Reaper is alleged to be the singer, who celebrated her number one single Promise This with fellow Girls Aloud members Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, who arrived dressed as Marie Antoinette with boyfriend Charlie Fennell.
X Factor Creative Director Brien Friedman and Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachir went together in an old-fashion theme with gothic make-up.

Guess who? Stephen Fry kept revellers in suspense
But the hottest ticket in town was undoubtedly Jonathan Ross' annual Halloween bash at his North London home.
Ross' Film 2010 replacement Claudia Winkleman in fluffy cat ears, Michael Mcintyre and his wife and singer Jarvis Cocker all attended, as well as a Stephen Fry in a ghoulish mask and comedian John Bishop.
Some celebrity guests chose not to get in to the festive spirit, with rapper Dizzee Rascal opting to stay in regular clothing. Xtra Factor host Konnie Huq had an excuse, arriving straight from work in the dress she wore on air.
The host, dressed as the devil, was inundated with trick or treaters as hundreds of local children knocked on his door.
Where is your costume? Dizzee Rascal forgot to dress up for Jonathan Ross' North London party, while Konnie Huq arrived straight from work on the Xtra Factor
