Looking good: Selena Gomez wowed the Japanese crowd in a shiny brown mini dress and black high heels in Tokyo earlier today
She may have become famous for her teen roles in several Disney TV series, but Selena Gomez looked every inch the young woman in Japan today.
The 18-year old star wowed fans in a copper coloured satin mini dress and black high heels as she attended a press photocall for her TV show The Wizards of Waverly Place.
She looked confident and assured as she spoke to fans at the event in Tokyo.
But the fourth season of the show, which airs on The Disney Channel in The U.S., will be her last.
'Unfortunately, I’m doing my last season of my show, which I’m really heartbroken about,' she told MTV last year.
'That’s going to be be a terrible time for me. I’m going to do a movie for my show, which I’ll be excited to end it with, and then a tour.'
The star, who is rumoured to be dating teen star Justin Bieber, also has a burgeoning singing career.
All smiles: Selena waved to her fans as she promoted the Disney show in which she plays young wizard Alex
The previous day, the singer looked overwhelmed to arrive to a multitude of waiting fans at Tokyo airport.
Arriving on an early flight, the star was dressed casually in white top and a striped hat.
And despite the early arrival, she took time to sign autographs for fans at the airport, and later took to Twitter to praise the Japanese fans for their enthusiasm.
'Hi Japan :) You're amazing,' she wrote.
