Marc Jacob's highly anticipated fashion show didn't disappoint yesterday when he unveiled a hot new collection inspired by 'sex shops and insane asylums.'
Using a medley of themes past, present and future, Marc also modeled his runway on the torrid weather currently affecting the U.S.
Featuring a strip of white, the catwalk represented New York's current icy conditions and the padded set formed a clinical background to what was strict and tailored fashion, offset with leather lace and rubber for a fetish, fun feel.

The designer told The Telegraph: 'So the silver was to represent the icy streets of New York and the blue vinyl was a kind of sex shop, insane asylum version of the blue skies.
'I thought in some sick weird twisted way its suggestive of this winter scene without being literal and the clothes take it apart.'
Latex t-shirts, shirts and trousers were made by London's fetish designer House of Harlot.
Marc reworked modern classics including the duffle coat and the biker, using texture and prints such as polka dots - all complimented by pillbox hats fastened securely around the chin.
Pencil skirts, high-neck blouses, sheer tops and more textures made up the future-meets-forties-inspired pieces.

Of the collection, Marc said: 'I kind of like what’s strict and disciplined right now. I’m tired of everything being all over the place.'
The stars, decked out in Marc Jacobs of course, were out in full force to show their loyalty to the notorious designer.
Singer Fergie, Gossip Girl Leighton Meester and High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens were just some of the celebrities packing the front row.
Vanessa chanelled the brights trend in a fuscia minidress and matching orange clutch.
Leighton and Fergie opted for the Seventies trend.
They later showed their appreciation, posing up with the Louis Vuitton designer, who attempted to keep cool despite wearing a blue rubber shirt.
