Family fun: Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham take two of their four children, plus a friend to the Pottery Barn Halloween Carnival in Beverly Hills yesterday
Halloween may still be a week away, but Hollywood is already well into the spirit of things.
And it seems there's no better way to feel suitably spooky than a family day out at the Pumpkin Patch.
It was Mark Wahlberg and wife Rhea Durham's turn for a fun day out amongst the pumpkins yesterday as they took two of their children to a special Halloween event in Beverly Hills.
The couple looked like they were having a great time at the Pottery Barn Halloween Carnival in Beverly Hills with their children Michael, four, and seven-year-old Ella, who was accompanied by a friend.
Ella was dressed up as a ladybird, with red spotted top and a cute antennae headband.
The 39-year old Departed actor looked low key in dark blue T-shirt, jeans and Ray-Ban sunglasses as he strode around the hay in the California sun.

Meanwhile, Michael was spotted happily playing amongst the pumpkins.
Perhaps wisely the couple left their two youngest, two-year-old Brendan and eight-month-old Margaret, with a baby-sitter.
The family were joined at the event - in aid of charity Operation Smile - by Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross who arrived alone.

She is clearly enjoying the spooky season - yesterday she took her three-year-old twin daughters Eden and Savannah to another pumpkin patch.
90210 star Lori Loughlijn also joined in the fun yesterday, trying on a witch's hat for size as she arrived at the venue.
And Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke seemed to be getting into the spirit of things as she arrived with three of her four children.

Dressed to impress: Dancing With The Stars co-host Brooke Burke arrived with three of her her children who were looking suitably scary for the occasion
Although Burke looked casual in a patterned mini dress and boots, she made sure her brood looked suitably spooky for the occasion.
Shaya, her two-year-old son with partner David Charvet, wore a Spider-Man suit while three-year-old Heaven Rain was Batgirl.
Her eight-year-old daughter Sierra, from her previous marriage, sported some impressive feline style make-up as Catwoman.
Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives actress Alison Sweeney and her five-year-old son Ben couldn't stop smiling as they arrived for the fun day out.
