What a cutie! Katherine Heigl looks drab in grey whilst little daughter Naleigh is a ray of sunshine

She may be a highly paid A-list actress with a hit movie currently in the theatres, but Katherine Heigl still has errands to run, just like the rest of us.

The 31-year-old actress was looking more drab than fab earlier today, dressed in a white top and a long shapeless grey cardigan and her hair pulled back in a tight bun.

Meanwhile her little daughter Naleigh looked as cute as a button as she walked next to Heigl in her very stylish leopard-print dress and matching brown shoes.

Mother and daughter headed for the public library in Los Feliz, and Naleigh, who is usually safely in her mother's arms, insisted on making her own way.

She did allow Heigl to hold her hand though as they strolled down the street.
And based on her sweet getup, it looks like she might end up having a better dress sense than her famous mother.

The actress and husband Josh Kelly adopted the little girl last year from South Korea.

Heigl spent some quality time yesterday with her mother, Nancy, enjoying lunch together at Little Dom's in Los Feliz.

Following lunch the actress got down to the business of the day.
First she stopped by a DIY store to stock up on some supplies then headed to an arts and crafts store.

And in decidedly un-movie star fashion Heigl was spotted later on filling her own car up with petrol.

Doesn't she have 'people' to do that?

Heigl is probably best known for her break-out role as Dr Izzie Stevens on the hit show Grey's Anatomy for which she won an Emmy in 2007 for Best Supporting Actress.

But since finding fame on the small screen the actress has transitioned to movies, having starred in Knocked Up, The Ugly Truth and her current hit, Life as we Know It.

Heigl stars in the dramatic comedy alongside Josh Duhamel. They play two complete opposites that are handed the unlikely task of becoming parents to a 1-year old daughter, Sophie , after their best friends die in a car accident

Grey day: Heigl was dressed to beat the unusually chilly Los Angeles autumn weather in a heavy cardigan and warm top



That'll save a dollar or two: Heigl shunned the full service attendants at the petrol station and opted to fill her car up herself
