Wow have you been doing weights? Alesha Dixon looks beefed up on the Daybreak sofa

Beefed up: Alesha Dixon looked like she had been working out as she appeared on Daybreak this morning


With a busy lifestyle combining her pop star and Strictly judging careers, Alesha Dixon has always been in good shape.

But after signing up to be the face of a gym chain earlier this year, perhaps the singer has been taking advantage of her free work out sessions.

As she appeared on Daybreak this morning, the 32-year-old looked incredibly muscular in her chiffon and silk mini-dress.

Her toned appearance may be down to the combination of dance and combat classes she does to keep fit.

Alesha was unveiled as the face of LA Fitness gyms earlier this year and has taken part in several online videos to help fans keep fit at home.

As she chatted to Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles, Alesha revealed her favourite Strictly contestant is Anne Widdecombe.

'I find her very charming, I really like her... she's got a great sense of humour. I love the fact that she talks back to Craig (Revel-Horwood).'

'Even though there was a lot of controversy last year I still had an amazing time.'
The singer was there to promote two new singles, her own effort Radio, as well as a collaboration with urban group Roll Deep, Take Control.

She said of her collaboration with Roll Deep: 'They are just a great bunch of guys who are finding a way of merging urban music and taking it in to the mainstream.

'They light up the stage and know how to get the party started.'

The singer rugged up outside the ITV studios after filming her interview, changing into a warm black jacket with jeans and lace up boots.

The unflattering footage may not cause Alesha too much concern, as she revealed today that she has a carefree attitude towards such slip-ups.

'Listen, I’ve had my nipple pop out before on stage. I’m used to it and I don’t get embarrassed.

It’s life. Sometimes you are on stage and things move and get shown. It’s not worth worrying about.'

Alesha will be back to her groomed, primped and best however when she's back on the Strictly judging panel this weekend for the latest in the live shows, on tomorrow night at 6pm.
